01 — Grounds & Winter Maintenance
Our grounds maintenance service delivers consistent, specification-led programmes for clients who require a reliable, documented service. We work with local authorities, housing developers, commercial estate managers, schools and healthcare providers across Cheshire and the wider North West region.
All works are scheduled around client requirements and site conditions, with seasonal programmes adjusted to reflect weather patterns and growth cycles. Operatives attend in branded uniform with full PPE, and all visits are recorded with before-and-after photographic evidence where required.
We maintain a fleet of commercial-grade mowers, strimmers, blowers and hedge-cutters, all inspected under PUWER requirements. Pre-use check records are retained. Our scheduled reporting gives clients full visibility on completed works, upcoming visits and any site issues identified during attendance.
Our winter maintenance service provides pre-treatment gritting, reactive gritting and snow clearance for commercial sites, retail parks, schools, care homes and highway-adjacent routes. We operate 24/7 during the winter season (typically October to April), with GPS-tracked vehicles recording every attendance. Clients receive a bespoke gritting plan showing treatment routes, salt application rates and trigger thresholds.

GPS technology delivers consistent, accurate line placement every time — eliminating the drift and inconsistency of traditional hand marking. Pitches are marked to FA, RFU or governing body specification, with line widths, colours and layouts programmed to your requirements. We also mark out running tracks, multi-use games areas (MUGAs) and playground markings to bespoke designs.
Our sports pitch refurbishment service returns tired, compacted or damaged pitches to playing condition. Works include mechanical aeration (solid tine, hollow core and verti-draining), overseeding with sport-specific grass seed mixtures, targeted fertiliser application, selective herbicide treatment and topdressing with approved sports loam. We carry out end-of-season renovation programmes and in-season maintenance to keep pitches safe, level and playable throughout the year. We work with schools, parish councils, sports clubs and local authorities.
